Chelsea Sacked Lampard

LONDON: Chelsea have announced the sacking of their manager Frank Lampard following a poor performance in the English Premier League (EPL).

“This is a very difficult decision for the club. It’s because I have a very good personal relationship with Frank and I have a lot of respect for him,” said club owner Roman Abramovich.

Chelsea struggled in ninth place in the EPL chart, 11 points behind leaders Manchester United.

They lost five of the last eight games of the EPL after a good start to the season.

According to reports, former Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) manager Thomas Tuchel will take over Lampard.
